The first Aethellis album was spearheaded and recorded in 2002/2003 by classically trained keyboardist / vocalist / hack guitarist / narcissist Ellsworth Hall and has many influences including rock, classical, synth pop, funk, jazz and even hip-hop. Ellsworth's upcoming classical
soundtrack album Conversations
with George Edgar Selby (album cover painting by Ellsworth
pictured left) features the music from the WWI epic Beside the Manor Selby which Ellsworth directed and wrote. The CD due Spring 2012 will feature "The Archduke Earsworth" originally from the three-movement piece The Blind Potentate. Ellsworth performs on a Steinway grand piano along with the vibrant sound of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Music samples can be heard here. |
