Aethellis

Ellsworth' progressive rock band Aethellis has the soaring majesty of classic symphonic rock and incorporates a contemporary rhythmic feel along with asymmetrical meters and polytriad harmonies. And the occasionally catchy hook!

The first Aethellis album was spearheaded and recorded in 2002/2003 by classically trained keyboardist / vocalist / hack guitarist / narcissist Ellsworth Hall and has many influences including rock, classical, synth pop, funk, jazz and even hip-hop. This either represents wide tastes or an inability to focus.

The new album, Aethellis: Northumbria is on the Melodic Revolution Records label and now available as a CD at such online stories as CD Baby, and Melodic Revolution Records (both CD and digital download - with samples available for listening). It will be available from other vendors as well such as Kinesis and ZNR Records.

Beside the Manor Selby - original motion picture soundtrack

Ellsworth's upcoming classical soundtrack album Conversations with George Edgar Selby (album cover painting by Ellsworth pictured left) features the music from the WWI epic Beside the Manor Selby which Ellsworth directed and wrote.

The CD due Spring 2012 will feature "The Archduke Earsworth" originally from the three-movement piece The Blind Potentate. Ellsworth performs on a Steinway grand piano along with the vibrant sound of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.

HacX - role playing game soundtrack (DVD)

Coming soon to Amazon.com, the pulse-pounding soundtrack to the famous role-playing game of the late 1990s, HacX!

Composer Jim Lynch has painstakingly re-orchestrated his original MIDI files from the game and along with Ellsworth's solo and co-composed pieces also re-orchestrated, this collection should be a classic gamer's delight!
