The sequel
(Episode 1 of the TV series) premiered at
Imagicon in May 2010. It may be viewed along with the original
pilot at flyboyfilms.tv
Episode 2
"What Powerful But Unrecorded Race"
is in the
final shooting stage. All shooting if scheduled to be
completed by April. Then post-production computer effects, editing,
sound effects and music work begins.
2/12/2012 - Joseph Dwyer directs KC and Scott
Pollak (Mo O'Hara and Capt. Shubian) along with Brian Mann and Jeff
Allen (Gunner
Diesel and F.O. Matt Compton) in a tense
scene on the bridge of the
ECC Journeyman from "What Powerful But Unrecorded Race."

Kris

Book Symposium and 3rd Book Signing
Joe
Dwyer and James Cambas were featured in a book symposium at the
Carnegie Library in Newnan, Georgia, November 10, 2011. They gave a
talk to the audience concerning the process of writing
Shubian's Rift: The Novel, and the publishing process, as well.
Afterward, they conducted their THIRD book signing at Scott's Book
Store across the street.
First book signing at Barnes and Noble, Newnan GA,
April 22, 2011.

Another
book signing was held at the Newnan GA Fairgrounds, May 21,
2011. Written by
Joseph M. Dwyer and James Cambas. This is Mr. Dwyer's first work in a
novel although he has written and copyrighted the movie script from
which this novel is based. This is the first book in a series based on
the continuing movie version of the same story.

Rift: Failed Diplomacy screened at ImagiCon,
Birmingham AL May 21st and 22nd
The orignal film and it's sequel were shown in
the theater at Old Car Heaven beginning at 12 p.m. on Friday,
May 21st and again beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 22nd.
The sci-fi epics were followed on both days by composer
Ellsworth Hall's own film, Beside
the Manor Selby, which he wrote, directed and
scored.

Joseph M. Dwyer
directed the science
fiction epics from his own scripts. The productions boast
a cast which includes of some of the southeast's leading theatrical
stars including Scott Pollak, Dale Lyles, David Dorrell, and Stan
Gentry. A complete cast

Effects
whiz Casey Curtis was recently voted
Georgia's best 3D animator and went on to the national competition
where he finished 17th in the country.
Ellsworth
Hall created the orchestral score
(with the
vibrant sounds of the Czech Philharmonic) and sound
effects. He also provided camera work, 3D
animation / title sequences and scripting.
Production Designer Robert
Brun created the DragonPhoenix logo
and the screen graphics seen in the production as well as the poster
art. He has also designed the DVD packaging including the inserts and
the DVD disc artwork itself.

novel in the
works
Director
Joseph M. Dwyer's good friend James Cambas is a published short story
science
fiction writer. After reading several of his works, James was
approached concerning collaborating with Joe in writing the
novelization of the Shubian's Rift movie. James accepted with a smile
on his face and the writing was completed ahead of schedule in May
2008. The book is now in the editing and publishing stage. Release date
to be announced.
